About

The Metadata Blog is the official blog of the Metadata Interest Group (MIG), an interest group of the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services division of the American Library Association.

In addition to reporting on Interest Group activities and ALA conference sessions relating to metadata, the Metadata Blog is a central place to find and share items of interest to the library metadata world. Contributions include summaries of articles or research, links to educational opportunities, calls for papers, descriptions of interesting projects, conference reports, requests for assistance, or anything else of potential interest to the community. Posts may contain original content or link to existing content, as appropriate. Do you have something that you would like to share? Contact Deb Kulczak, Blog Coordinator, at dkulczak@uark.edu, to find out how you can post information to the blog.
